Canon City Wild Horse & Inmate Program

They say that the outside of a horse is good for the inside of man. Our first short video is about the Wild Horse & Inmate Program, in Cañon City, Colorado, where horses and inmates learn from each other. Inmates learn how to gentle wild horses and in return saddle train mustangs in a 90-day program, after which the horses are made available for adoption.

This program is just one of the many solutions to the controversy that Roaming Wild hopes to bring to a wider audience. We hope that the film will inspire audiences to encourage more solutions that bring people and horses together. We need your help to make this happen.
